Aston Villa confirm signing of Nicolo Zaniolo on loan from Galatasaray
Aston Villa have confirmed the signing of Italy international Nicolo Zanilo on a season-long loan deal from Galatasaray. Villa have been active during the summer transfer window, bolstering Unai Emery's squad with the additions of Youri Tielemans, Pau Torres and Moussa Diaby, and Zanilo has now followed them through the door at Villa Park. Galatasaray confirmed that Villa have paid an initial fee of £4.2m and agreed to a bonus of up to £1.2m to seal the loan. Should Villa choose to trigger their purchase option, they will have to pay £19.2m plus a further £13.2m in add-ons. 90min understands there is also a clause in the loan agreement which would trigger a mandatory purchase.
