Bob Oechsler: Former NASA specialist claimed that the US government has several operational alien spacecraft. NASA whistleblower Bob Oechsler claimed that the US government has operational alien spacecraft. He was a NASA mission specialist in the 1970s and used his knowledge of robotics to investigate UFOs. In addition to several other deep space projects, Oechsler worked on the docking collar for the Apollo-Soyuz project, the first international space mission between the US and Russia. He passed away on June 6, 2020, after battling lung cancer.
Oechsler claimed that he had received an invitation to serve as a consultant for NASA’s “Cosmic Voyage Project,” intended to be a traveling exhibit featuring a full-scale mock-up of a space shuttle. An exhibit on UFOs and aliens was planned for the event. He said that he had discussions about the production with senior Pentagon officials. One enthusiastic general suggested “showing an alien/ET corpse in a cryogenic tank.”
According to Oechsler, “the general described the tank as a space-age looking coffin with a tube of blue light inside the transparent Lexan cover, propped at an angle so it didn’t look so coffin-like.” “It seems that (the general) was concerned about using the real thing instead of a mockup…” The general asked how Oechsler could present it to convince the public that it was a genuine ET corpse. To improve legitimacy, Oechsler recommended that it “could be authenticated with official plates of some sort…a supplemental autopsy report with color photographs” to help the credibility aspect. “In fact,” Oechsler said, “I got the impression that they had a lot of (alien) bodies to choose from.” The project was shelved in the early 1990s for budgetary reasons.
Admiral Bobby Ray Inman, a former director of naval intelligence and deputy director of the CIA, told Oechsler in 1989 that the US government had Technology that was not of human origin. Oechsler asked the Admiral over the phone in a recorded conversation: “Do you anticipate that any of the recovered (UFO) vehicles would ever be available for technological research outside of Military circles?” Admiral Inman replied: “Honestly, I don’t know. Ten years ago the answer would have been no. If as time has evolved, they’re starting to be more open about it, there’s a chance.”

Oechsler also got a closer look at the Chinese lantern-shaped objects captured by Ed Walters on camera while he was building his house. Using the operational resources of NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland, he spent five months analyzing the video. He came to the conclusion that the UFO was not a radio controlled model. He also investigated the infamous Guardian tape, which showed a Canadian family witnessing a UFO landing in their field.
In an interview with BBC Radio 1 in 2007, he described a UFO he had been shown as “…a disc-shaped craft approximately 30 feet in diameter. It had a small dome around the center part. There were equidistant protruding tabs around the outer edge.” The directors of the archived NASA project later denied that Oechsler ever worked for the project and that the proposed exhibit was always planned to feature only mock-ups of aliens and flying saucers. NASA denied almost everything about Oechsler.
Oechsler’s work in ufology in the 1980s and 1990s launched him to worldwide fame as he investigated a series of high-profile cases. British crop circle researcher Colin Andrews told The Sun: “I performed with him on a number of occasions in various countries. Bob’s research was highly respected.”

On September 28, 1993, Oechsler said in an interview: “I had contacted Admiral Bobby Ray Inman, who was the head of the National Security Agency in the United States, deputy director of the CIA, director of naval intelligence and a variety of intelligence positions. He was someone that if it was true that there were UFOs and non-human intelligence around, this is a man who had to know.”
“Then, I was able to contact him…alarmingly, he indicated not only that these issues were covered by national secret laws, but that the United States government was in possession of the hardware associated with these [UFOs]. In other words, it was a ship of actual physical phenomena…a spaceship, several of them. They were in an operational condition that I assume suggested they had been in contact. They had been given these craft for one reason or another because they certainly weren’t crash vehicles.”
“I have seen with my own eyes on many occasions more than 20 at very close range several of these vehicles. It’s some pretty extraordinary technology… Well, Admiral Inman convinced me that these vehicles were not made by human technology, so that’s pretty conclusive to me.”
“I’m pretty sure there are different species of alien life forms. President Reagan repeatedly warned of his concern about possible hostilities from outer space. And why it would be important for us to work together on this planet with superpowers and thus unite the problem that we face here. Although technologically these beings may be more intelligent than us, we seem to be more advanced in areas of civility, we have emotions and such, we do care about our fellow man, whereas that doesn’t necessarily seem to be the case in some of these. other cultures”.
