The video of a UFO over the Baltic Sea unleashes the war on social networks
Many ufologists maintain that the governments of our planet have been secretly investigating UFO activity for years, while the official version was that they did not exist. This shows that for some years the population has been deceived by disinformation techniques.
Disinformation is creating the wrong impression on a target audience. It is something that is done to deceive everyone who has the ability to deceive, be it with a small lie or a large one. Disinformation can be directed by the intelligence services of a country that is at war or by its own citizens in times of peace. But misinformation also affects everything related to extraterrestrial beings and civilizations from other worlds.
Some of the most terrifying and bizarre stories about UFOs and otherworldly visitors were created using the technique of disinformation, which in turn are spread through official channels or by gullible people who don’t bother to check the facts, but who they like history. But in other cases, the most ridiculous stories related to extraterrestrial beings could reveal a whole truth. It is from that moment that the misinformation begins.
On the Internet there are many alternative news web pages that have been accused of disinformation, such as the popular portal specialized in UFOs «Openminds.tv», and that many people assure that behind their news there is a whole machinery to confuse the thousands of people who visit your website on a daily basis. And now the video of a UFO over the Baltic Sea has generated controversy again.
The UFO over the Baltic Sea
As published by the British tabloid Mirror Online, a new video uploaded on August 5, 2015 to YouTube appears to show strange lights in the sky and floating over the Baltic Sea, Russia. The video was released by popular ufologist Scott C. Waring, who explained that the sightings occurred during sunset, which is the best time to “capture” UFOs.
“A group of red glowing UFOs were seen last month over the Baltic Sea,” Waring explained on his UFO Sightings Daily website. “The sightings occurred during sunset, which is the best time to catch a UFO. As I said before, when the Sun goes down, the light surrounding the UFO will not work for a few minutes. This is the reason why so many are seen at this time of day.”
As can be seen in the video, the bright lights remain in the sky for a short period of time, before disappearing without a trace of their existence. Shortly after its publication, many people on social networks claimed that it was a ship of extraterrestrial origin over a secret Russian Military base. But as always happens in all these types of sightings, the most skeptical suggested that they were Chinese lanterns or even drones.
Informers or misinformers?
So far there seems to be nothing strange, a UFO sighting where the most believers assured that it is of extraterrestrial origin and the most skeptical saying that it is a Chinese lantern or a drone. But the controversy has arisen after the well-known website Openminds.tv has publicly accused Scott C. Waring of being a misinformer.
This was because Waring publicly released a video posted on a Russian YouTube account on August 5, 2015 with the caption “UFO. Russia. Strange lights over the Baltic Sea!». But Openminds.tv said this video gained some popularity a year ago, after it was posted on a disreputable UFO website.
UFO over the Baltic Sea
The original video was posted on September 10, 2014, by YouTube user Mariusz Bilski under the caption “Baltic Sea UFO.” The description said the following:
«Yesterday, I witnessed something that I recorded. The UFO could be a test of Russian missiles in the Baltic, I don’t know… But, what you see is the second of the night in a 25 minute interval. Unfortunately, the first one, which was more spectacular, I couldn’t record.»
Although Alejandro Rojas, editor of Openminds.tv, claimed that the mysterious lights over the ocean were actually very interesting and too bright to be Chinese lanterns or airplanes, he was quick to suggest that they could be military flares. Aside from accusing Waring, Rojas also pointed out that other media outlets such as Mirror Online had sensationalized the story. And as we have previously commented, conspiracy theorists accuse Alejandro Rojas and his Openminds.tv portal of misinforming all users who access his website. So everyone accuses each other of being misinforming you on the UFO issue. But whatever the truth, the Baltic Sea sighting leaves more questions than answers.
Is it a real UFO? Or could it be Military flares?
Comment: Definitely, they could not be Military flares as shown in the video, due to the static position that the objects have, it could very well be a real unidentified flying object or a plasma electrical phenomenon.
