How UFOs Went From Conspiracy To Scientific Priority

How UFOs Went From Conspiracy To Scientific Priority
UFOs are no longer a conspiracy. In fact, today, governments around the world, the military, and even space agencies like NASA are engaged in the study of UFOs. But this was not always the case. Just a few years ago, UFOs were considered a conspiracy. So what changed so drastically?
The UFO issue is hotly debated. But this has not always been the case. The past few years have been a roller coaster for Ufology.

Never before has the subject attracted so much attention. Suddenly, and perhaps even illogically, the subject of UFOs went from being a crazy conspiracy of tinfoil hats to being a subject worthy of the most rigorous scientific study.

Things have changed in recent years, and they changed abruptly. UFOs are no longer a conspiracy. On the contrary, UFOs are now so important that even space agencies like NASA and Roscosmos have openly admitted to studying the phenomenon.

From conspiracy to scientific movement
The UFO theme has evolved drastically, but so have we as a society. Things that were considered strange decades ago are completely normal today. There is more freedom within society, and this freedom comes in various forms. This freedom of thought has contributed significantly to the evolution of the UFO issue, thus bringing the phenomenon from irrationalism to scientific rationalism.

Today we live in a world more curious than ever. And what arouses more curiosity than talking about unidentified flying objects? So, I find it really difficult to understand why science, I mean the scientific academy, has been so slow to embrace the study of UFOs.

Aren’t scientists curious? In my opinion, scientists should be the most curious among us. How can a scientist who is faced with a phenomenon that he cannot understand turn away from it and not investigate? How can a scientist categorize a subject as mere conspiracy without spending time researching it? How can a scientist ridicule another person for having a different opinion? That’s not science.

The above questions are a thing of the not too distant past. Only a few years ago, the UFO subject was considered unworthy of comment, let alone scientific study.

Today, this is no longer the case, and we can thank several experts in the field for this abrupt change.

One of the most inspiring scientists who was not afraid of backlash or the opinions of others is Professor Avi Loeb, who is undoubtedly a pioneer in various fields.

Professor Loeb started, within the scientific community, a revolution in regards to UFOs, extraterrestrial life, and extraterrestrial technology.

‘Oumuamua, a strange visitor
In 2017, our telescopes were pointed at the sky and detected something strange. They saw what appeared to be a strange object Traveling through the solar system. Astronomers quickly began to study the strange object, which would later be named ‘Oumuamua, and noticed that it was not from around here.

Instead, based on its trajectory and velocity, astronomers eventually figured out that it was an interstellar object that originated from another star system.

This was the first such object we discovered, although it is likely that many others have drifted in and out of our solar system since the birth of our Sun.

But there was something strange about ‘Oumuamua; it didn’t look like a comet or an asteroid. It showed no signs of outgassing, and as it moved away from the Sun, it changed direction. Natural objects do not “adjust” their direction suddenly. Comets do it because of outgassing. But “Oumuamua showed no signs of outgassing, so what made it suddenly change its trajectory?

Professor Loev published a series of scientific papers explaining why the features displayed by ‘Oumuamua were out of the ordinary.

Eventually, Professor Loeb wrote a book on the subject called “Alien: The First Sign of Intelligent Life Beyond Earth.”

This book, which I highly recommend, explained, in a perfectly understandable way, why Professor Loeb believed that ‘Oumuamua was particularly interesting and likely evidence of non-Earth technology. He received a backlash from his colleagues, but stood his ground and responded with arguments and evidence.

Perhaps unconsciously, Professor Loeb started – within academia – a revolution that led to the UFO issue being treated with more respect. Professor Loev is the perfect example of a curious scientist. Professor Loeb is not afraid to speak up because scientists should be curious. Scientists must be curious. Close-minded people cannot run academia, not today, not in the 21st century.

In search of extraterrestrial technological artifacts through the Galileo project
The Galileo project, spearheaded by Professor Loeb, is a significant push in the scientific community to study not just UAP for extraterrestrial technological artifacts in general. The project is evidence of how curiosity combined with scientific rigor can fuel a new age of exploration, a new generation of scientific thinking, and a new age of open inquiry.

Using Project Galileo, researchers will go beyond accidental or anecdotal observations to establish a transparent, validated, and systematic search for extraterrestrial technology signatures from extraterrestrial technological civilizations (ETCs).

One significant difference between this project and traditional SETI is that it looks for extraterrestrial technological equipment as physical objects rather than electromagnetic signals.

The Galileo Project has defined two specific objectives within this general objective for two related research areas:

Using deep learning AI algorithms trained in the rigorous classification of well-known objects, the scientists involved in the project will attempt to examine the possibility of extraterrestrial origins for unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) by observing objects in and near the atmosphere. , filtering out identifiable objects. objects and then examine the remaining data for anomalous features.
Using astronomical and atmospheric studies and observations from space, we will discover and characterize interstellar objects (ISOs) with characteristics that differ from those of asteroids and comets.
Despite the likelihood that Project Galileo will discover additional or even extraordinary evidence for ETC, it should at the very least collect substantial data sets that can help discover new interstellar objects with anomalous properties or better scientific explanations for natural atmospheric phenomena, or in some cases, terrestrial technology explanations for many of the currently unexplained UAPs.

UFO videos that are authentic
Much has been said about UFOs in recent years, and many opinions have changed. People who were reluctant to even think about UFOs would eventually change their minds. Curiosity won.

But this process was not easy. On the contrary, it was a difficult journey for ufology, and many pioneers in the field contributed to it. (Loeb, Kaku, Pope, Corbell, Greenwald Jr., etc…)

Carl Sagan once said that “extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.”

To affirm that UFOs are not of this world is, without a doubt, an extraordinary affirmation. Fortunately for us, we have extraordinary evidence.

In recent years, several videos have been declassified and released to the public. These are not ordinary videos shot by you and me, but videos shot by US Navy warships and US Navy fighter pilots, among others.

These videos are extraordinary not because they were filmed by credible sources, but because of what the videos show within them.

Some of the examples we see are objects traveling at incredible speed, performing maneuvers that are impossible to perform even with the most advanced combat aircraft available to us today. Evidence shows that the military has witnessed UFOs traveling fifteen times the speed of sound.

What kind of man-made object can reach this speed?

In some of these videos, we see objects being tracked by the military, traveling at high speeds and multiplying into various objects. Also, these videos show objects with no visible exhaust, no wings, and can outperform 21st century fighter jets equipped with the latest technology.

In addition to the many videos that clearly show objects beyond our current Technology, there are reports from highly reliable sources that tell us about the amazing features of these unidentified objects. An example is this, where the Military reported seeing a UFO break the sound barrier but without producing a “sonic boom”.

Space agencies are now involved
Perhaps the most significant change in the way people view UFOs is the news that space agencies around the world, such as NASA and Roscosmos, have openly admitted that they are studying UFOs. It was NASA that not long ago revealed a statement saying that it would create a working group dedicated specifically to the study of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena.

“NASA believes that the tools of scientific discovery are powerful and apply here as well,” said Thomas Zurbuchen, associate administrator for science at NASA Headquarters in Washington.

This claim is so self-evident that it is surprising why it took NASA so long to realize that these objects are worthy of study, based solely on the technological advances they display.

“We have access to a wide range of observations of Earth from space, and that is the lifeblood of scientific research. We have the tools and equipment that can help us improve our understanding of the unknown. That is the very definition of what science is. That’s what we do,” Zurbuchen added.

NASA has at its disposal cutting-edge Technology used in space Travel and space exploration. Why did it take so long to recognize that this Technology could help scientists finally study UFOs? Close-minded people and people without a sense of curiosity have made rigorous analysis of these phenomena difficult. Luckily this has changed.

Not long after NASA revealed to the world that it would be studying UFOs, Roscosmos chief director Dmitry Rogozin confirmed that the Russian Academy of Sciences has been and is investigating UFO sightings.

Rogozin even revealed that he knows the testimonies of pilots who saw UFOs during test flights in the 1970s.

The participation of NASA and Roscmos in the study of UFOs –UAP– sends a clear statement that it is now a scientific priority.

His involvement in the study of UFOs is also a message to the general public that everything that was said about UFOs ten years ago, and how the phenomenon was not worthy of scientific study, no longer applies, and that they must be make more efforts to understand what these are. What are the objects and where do they come from?

Perhaps the biggest telltale sign that UFOs are no longer a conspiracy is the acknowledgment by space agencies that they say they are committed to studying the phenomenon.

The time has come to change our way of thinking. Now is the time to dig deeper into the topic and find out what humanity is up against.
