The Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers face off on Saturday in a Week 3 NFL preseason Game at Lambeau Field. 

What Will the Seahawks Do With the Starters?

It’s hard to imagine the Seahawks are going to play their starters in this Game, and if they do, I wouldn’t expect them to play very long. Jaxon Smith-Njigba has broken a bone in his wrist and he could miss regular season Games now. The Seahawks opened up the preseason with a 24-13 victory against the Minnesota Vikings, but in the last Game against the Dallas Cowboys they were defeated 22-14. Holton Ahlers completed 7 of his 13 passes for 61 yards. He’s still fighting to make hte roster and it’s unclear his spot on the roster. Drew Lock completed 5 of his 6 passes for 119 yards, and he’s going to be the backup this season. 

Jordan Love Will Play

Jordan Love has played in the first two preseason Games, and he’s going to start again here. In the first Game against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Packers were able to secure the 36-19 victory. In the last Game against the New England Patriots, the Packers scored 17 points and that wasn’t enough as they were defeated 21-17. In the last Game, Love completed 5 of his 8 passes for 84 yards and a touchdown. Sean Clifford completed 13 of his 19 passes for 137 yards. Love might only play a series or two here, but he’s going to play. Malik Heath also had a strong Game catching five passes for 75 yards. In this Game the Packers are going to need the defense to step up, and really put the pressure on the Seahawks quarterback.

Both teams had struggles finding the end zone in the last game, and that is going to continue here. I am still not sold on Clifford for the Packers and he’s going to really struggle to find the end zone again here. The Seahawks defense is going to really step up here, and that is going to be the difference here. Both of these offenses are going to finish under 20 points and the under is going to cash here.
